Bangladesh Archeology Tour (8 Days)

Your journey begins in Dhaka, where we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to a nearby hotel. The rest of the day is free, allowing for flexible plans based on your energy and interests!

On Day 2, we travel to Rajshahi, where you’ll explore historic temples, vibrant bazaars, and the renowned Varendra Research Museum.

Day 3 takes you on a day trip to Gauda, the ancient capital of Bengal, known for its fascinating history and architectural wonders.

On Day 4, you’ll cross the sandbanks of the Padma River (Ganges) to visit remote tribal villages located on an island that straddles the border between India and Bangladesh. Later in the day, we will visit the Bagha Mosque and the Puthia Temple Complex, home to stunning terracotta temples.

The adventure continues on Day 5, where we explore Somapura Mahavihara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most significant Buddhist monasteries in the region. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Sarital Tribal Village to gain insight into their way of life. Afterward, we will head to Bogra for an overnight stay.

On Day 6, we proceed to Rangpur, where you’ll visit a centuries-old carpet workshop and the Tajhat Palace, a magnificent historic mansion.

The final day of our tour, Day 7, takes us to Dinajpur, where we will visit a unique school built from mud and bamboo—an award-winning architectural masterpiece that won the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2007. Before heading to Saidpur Airport for your return flight to Dhaka, we will also explore some exquisite temples.

On the last night, you’ll stay in Dhaka. The next morning, we will drop you off at the airport or assist with your onward travel arrangements.
