When visiting mosques in Old Dhaka, it is essential to follow the dress code: long clothing is required, and shorts are strictly prohibited by the authorities. Women must wear a scarf to cover their heads while entering the mosque.
Please note that rickshaw rides are limited to a maximum of six people at a time due to space constraints.
On public holidays, the Pink Palace and Lalbagh Fort will be closed, but you can still view them from the outside.
Local residents, unaccustomed to foreign tourists, may display curiosity but are generally very friendly and welcoming. To ensure a pleasant experience, we encourage visitors to engage politely and respectfully.
