We’ll visit the stunning Ahsan Manzil, an eye-catching pink palace in Baroque style, and step back in time at Lalbagh Fort, an unfinished Mughal fortress dating back to 1678. Our journey will also take us to beautifully preserved mosques such as Hussaini Dalan, as well as the National Museum, which offers insights into Bangladesh’s rich history and culture.
One of the most impactful parts of our journey will be visiting Korail Bosti and Kawran Bazar, two of the largest slums in South Asia. With the guidance of a local expert, we’ll navigate through these urban settlements, visiting schools and markets, and witnessing the daily lives of incredibly resilient and cheerful people.
