On this tour, we’ll take you to Kakran Pottery Village, the Dhamrai Brass Artisans area, and the National Martyrs Monument, including a short boat ride.

Your guide will meet you at your hotel or the airport in the morning. The tour begins with a visit to the National Martyrs Monument in Savar, dedicated to those who lost their lives during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971. The monument’s stunning architecture and the surrounding natural landscape make it a captivating site.

Next, we head to Nayarhat and take a brief boat ride (1-2 hours) to reach Kakran Pottery Village, where you’ll be amazed by the craftsmanship of local potters who continue their centuries-old traditions despite the advent of modern technology. Enjoy a delicious, authentic lunch at a local restaurant.

Afterward, we travel to Dhamrai to witness the exceptional work of brass artisans. This tradition, passed down through generations, dates back to the Pala Dynasty in the 7th century AD. You’ll see the intricate process of making various brass items, including the famous ‘Hindu Rath,’ a large ceremonial chariot similar to the Roman version.

On the way back, we’ll stop at the picturesque Jahangir Nagar University campus, known for its migratory bird population and beautiful lakes during winter.

We’ll return to Dhaka in the late afternoon.
